Day Three washout leaves Glos with tough task

Gloucestershire require the tall order of taking 17 Surrey wickets on the final day at the Oval after day three of the match was abandoned without a ball bowled.

After a 1:15pm inspection, bad light prevented play for much of the afternoon, rain then returned to scupper any hopes of action.

183 is the follow-on target and the shire will need to defend this total to stand any chance of victory. Should they be made to bat again, then time will surely defeat them.
